I shall have to do it.....
I AM SCARED ENOUGH AS IT IS 8ree!
Trembling to the thought uke:
I can only cope with things like if my chain goes flat, I could pump it up (you've seen my air line Bill)...What a garage hey? @tu*
A flat chain? Now you have got me worried, Petros! 8rfl@
Petros' starting problem traced to the starter button. WD40 helped a bit but we are going to get some contact cleaner and see if that clears the problem or whether a new assembly is needed. @tu*
I believe the handle bar switches were mentioned in post #6 ;-0)):-0)
Taken into consideration at the time and always a thought Caspar and thank you indeed for posting that at the time. But no contact cleaner, only WD40 and two solenoids did not work.....lol
Thanks
Also. it was discovered that the rh switchgear was broken (the cover)
Regards:bang:
8rfl@, now we fekkin find out. ! 11 pages worth. :bang:
Disconnect he earth lead from the battery. Undo the two bolts and remove from the handlebars. Follow the wire down into the loom and undo the plug.
Fit the new lead, CAREFULLY tighten the bolts. Refit the earth on the battery and test. Skype is available! :-0)
I had never seen this broken switch cover before and I only noticed it when I looked for taking the damn thing off the bike.....gr0n:
The thing is now I ordered the unit (thanks for poiting out on ebay) but it means that you will have to tell me how to do it
Is there a specific way of doing this job?

I don't think they are affected. I thing they stay in place when the cover is removed. Anyone help?
Wonder if we can get to 20 pages on this ?
