Leave it, I know you're 'in the job' but for fooks sake Rhino... still can't find any words to say...

Keran,
I'm mad about animals BUT i feel this thread is fook all to do with 'Rover' and 'Bonzo' but more like a witch hunt against the cops yet again.

Many many people cause animal cruelty daily but there is never this much hype. Am i lead to believe that cops are not allowed to make mis-judgements?
I suspect, as i already said , it was a huge error as opposed to deliberate cruelty.

Just can't see any 'humour' in it lost one of my dogs this week and am devestated but I would never have left one of my dogs in the car. Not on here to have a row and certainly not with you Rhino. I am lost for words due to the suffering of the dogs.

What would have been said had the handler let the dog tackle a burglar with a knife knowing the dog COULD potentially be harmed???

Would the handler have been just as responsible :dunno:.....
They are NOT pets, not a fashion item, they are a tool to the trade when the rose tinted glasses are off.

I'm about to lose my 14yr old Labrador anytime now, i'll be devastated to see her go  , i can imagine the handler feels close to this right now to.

still lost for words, i don't give a rats ass if it was a police dog handler, mother teresa or the pope: its the loss of 2 animals that is the concern. Not going to post again on this thread as I said before I didn't post for a row with anyone.

From what you post it would appear that you have already made up your mind that the officer in question has just been a little bit silly & should go unpunished,

fuck me you're dense ...... you jump to more conclusions than a pole vaulter dressed up as Sherlock Holmes .........

If you want to see cruelty to animals (Dogs especially) try Korea or China, I don't see you bleating about what goes on over there to the dogs on this forum, only when it happens to be a cop.....as usual.

Your WRONG!!!!!!!!!!! Totally wrong!!!
He was paid to use them as a resource tool to aid tracking and catching offenders.
I'd suggest they are better able to do this when alive.

Of course their welfare partly comes down to him but this is shared
They were in his 'care' at the time, according to all parties.

there are regulations about placing them in
There's laws about animal cruelty, too.
'protocol' more than likely prevented this.
See my earlier post where I suggested 'procedural error' would come into this debate.

Now, was he to ignore a lawfull order and NOT attend his meeting?
Or allegedly break the law by killing the dogs by neglect? btw- According to Murt's 'rumours' he was off-duty; this doesn't stack up with attending a mmeeting, surely?
risking a discipline procedure?
I'd suggest that he's risking such a procedure at the moment, unless the OP's suggestion of a cover-up takes place.

keeping within guidlines but with tragic circumstances that many of us would not suspect could occur in such a short time let alone their handler..?
"Tragic error"......."nobody could have known"...... Try "nobody knew it was that hot that day". Say it was for the handler's safety, or terrorism related

I would like to think it was a massive error of judgement and not neglect.
I'd say it's both, so we half agree.

RH , i would like to know WHY you are so negative over the Police forces in this country
I'm not anti-police, just anti BAD police. I hope you can appreciate that there is a difference. If you can't see a difference then it would reflect worse on you than on me; if you can, then we might find common ground.

it seems to be the only time you rear your head..
Apart from (eg) V-power & supercharger comments to Karlos?
Must be difficult being so perfect
Personal abuse - the resort of a man running out of debating strategy?

I have a question- why do you and others insist on defending this clown & his ilk?

I pissed messen there before I even worked the fooka out.....:lol::lol:

...yes, I too can be dense....really....

gotta agree with Rhino...another Cophunt thread...unless the Handler was a secret dog abuser who gained the trust of the Force hierarchy, tricking his way into the Dog Handling Section and slowly grooming :-0) these poor animals to satisfy his twisted evil cravings.......unless he did actually drop an almighty bollock for which he will never ever forgive himself.......

I'm not defending him , if that is defense then i would be a poor lawyer.
I'm actually proving the fact i can keep an open mind and look at fact , so far the facts are 2 dogs are dead due to being left in a vehicle.
This doesn't automatically mean he's guilty of some henious offence as 'WE' do NOT know the FULL facts surrounding this.

If the cops don't follow orders then there would be anarchy on the streets , cops cannot simply choose to ignore a lawfull order because the public would go on a witch hunt

Ground hog day.

And you should work for the press, part quotations to suit your own needs. In case you missed it I followed up with "but then again I try not to read too much meaning into words typed on the internet so I could be way off track" which as any person of average intelligence can see I was pointing out how your post appears to me but also allowing that I could have misinterpreted your intentions

Derek explain to me how the fuk this will be "covered up", it would appear quite a few folk know about it????????????????

Just because people know about it doesn't mean it will not be covered up, I don't know & I haven't stated it will be covered up I hope to god it isn't

If I were the dog handler I can guarantee I would not have left the dogs in the car for five minutes let alone twenty regardless of lawfull orders, I would rather face a disciplinary charge than let my dogs die

Ahh yes, BUT, i do remember you having crap stables built that blew down in a draught (please correct me if i'm wrong).
There was a risk they would kill a horse when they got wrecked.

It was unseen yet preventable, please please please don't tell me you never left ya pooches in the car for '5' mins...

I'LL SAY IT AGAIN AND AGAIN...... WE DO NOT KNOW THE FULL SITUATION!

Have you never made a mistake? one you regret deeply??

I have

First two hamsters I had...when I was ickle.....kept them in a spare room in the house...Found that they had both died one day and so off I dutifully took them and buried them..found out later in life that the fookas had gone into hibernation. No Central Heating them days and the room was cold as fook.

Given me nightmares over the years.....giant hamsters appearing from the ground....:eek::eek::eek:

The stables were erected by a so called reputable company, they didn't blow down the 100mph winds actually lifted them from the concrete base & took them over a fence destroying the securing bolts, freak weather conditions, no danger of the horses boiling to death in hot stables

It was unseen yet preventable, please please please don't tell me you never left ya pooches in the car for '5' mins...
Yes it was preventable but how can it be unseen? did the handler not realise it was a hot day? & no I have never left my dogs in the car for 5 minutes on a hot day
I'LL SAY IT AGAIN AND AGAIN...... WE DO NOT KNOW THE FULL SITUATION
We know that someone left two dogs in a car on the hottest day of the year, the reasons why are irrelevant
Have you never made a mistake? one you regret deeply??

I have

We have all made mistakes that we regret, but luckily none of my mistakes have resulted in death

Sorry John, don't quite see the relevance, I make sure that the people who have offended against society cannot pose a threat to the law abiding public, if I think an order is wrong I will challenge it
