Eric, the route i have for the treck down is awesome, find BURGOS on the autoroute and then go from there to SORIA and then to Barcelona :yo: , the route takes in the mountains, the roads are superb too.

Not the route I expected but it'll work for me!

I don't think there'll be too much hassle finding a stopover somewhere on route......the girls could be a bit nervous about this.... but that's your problem! :}

What's happening with the hotel 'Belpuig' bookings btw?

Yes Paul, purely and simply because the terrain is fantastic, not motorway and ya can do some spectacular sight seeing en route.

Re the Hotel, Paul (my bro) is booking them on Sunday as Graphite E.S is staying there and Gatso too, full house eh.

I am gonna be there sooner..........in Spain that is.......I'm going on the 5th now as i screwed up with my ferry times so its 3 days in Santander on the beach to get as brown as Eric

I've now sorted out my ferry ticket with Brittany Ferries and managed to wangle a space on the 8th so hard luck chaps, i'm wid ya'll.

Paul is getting my tickets from Spain (so i don't lose them), he has found a stop over for the Thursday night should we want it but he's still looking into a more rural location for us.
Eric, myself and Emma will have a day at port Aventura with ya, she'll love it.....its mad that place, just like Alton Towers on steroids and wizz.

WARNING - CATALUNYA - SPEEDING

Hi Guys...........

Re :.... your ride through Spain.

A friend returning through BURGOS has just been caught speeding.

@ 67 kph in a 60 limit...........taken to cashpoint and relieved of ?200.00

if not paid on spot then would have been ?310.00.

It seems there is a stretch of road which has speed limits on it only to test

if your observant.........it goes 60 - 80 - 70 - 50 - 60 etc.............


Cameras hidden in parked vehicles and you get a tug further down the road.

And I guess with the bikes coming through at Moto GP time it will be like

Christmas and Birthdays all together for the local snots.


They were very active on the road to Jerez last month, many bikes done.


P.S......... they speak good English ( well better than Rhino )


P.P.S. Paul and I also have a 1000 kilometre ride to the circuit
so we will be going real slow so as not to get nicked too.... :rolleyes:
