Mrs P phoned andyBeaker and he told her razor blades were the way forward. Saw three meeces this morning with their lower jaws missing.Crushed glass in the render is quite effective I believe. Time to smash a few wine bottles in the mix.

Nah... that's too much sympathy for the furry crittersMrs P phoned andyBeaker and he told her razor blades were the way forward. Saw three meeces this morning with their lower jaws missing.
Don’t forget that baby mice can reproduce at six weeks & they can have mahoosive litters, virtually guarantee that they’ve been breeding a while before you spotted them, could be hundreds of the little twatsSo much for spotting them early - wishful thinking.
One more caught in the house and two in the garage.
Think I'll get a few more traps!!
Reading up it suggests the reproduction is roughly monthly and they live around 9-12 mths.
I'll keep putting the traps out until we get at least a month without any

Somewhere on you tube there is a video of a homemade trap, basically a tall bucket with a swinging trap door lid, once the little bastards are in they cant get out and you can deal with them at your leisureSo much for spotting them early - wishful thinking.
