Looks like the terrorist are winning. Feel the hate!
As one who's whole history was changed by the domination of Christian Europeans, I find your concerns of Muslim dominance somewhat ironic. However the reality of today's world is that, cultures, religions and races are all going to have to learn to live together.
The number of Quran experts here, is astounding. I wonder (assuming they class themselves Christians) if they are as eloquent with the bible. That being the case, then can they help me out on the violence it advocates when that's taken out of context.
Muslims, Jews and Christians believe in the same God. The only real difference between each is the number of prophets each claims walked on earth.
I'm not interested in religion. You seem to be obsessed with it.

I have never even opened a quran/Koran, I have read the Bible (many years ago) I had religion drilled into me.
My personal feeling about religion is that it is used as a crutch for the inadequate & a moral highground for the pious.

Personally I think the only significant difference between the religions you list is that some Muslims carry out terrorist attacks.

Going back in history the whole world was full of brutal war mongers. Fortunately many parts of the world have become somewhat more civilised. Quoting what our forefathers did generations ago probably falls on alot of deaf ears.

Maybe you should take an interest, it may make you a little more tolerant!

I'd love to spend a couple of hours in your company to explain to me, in your opinion, which religion you'd find tolerence in.

Do like to have a meaningful discussion on theology or should that be idealology from you

It's only 20 years since the last armed religious conflict ended in the UK. For information, that was the result of your forefathers actions 400 years before. However since you mention forefathers, do we want our children's legacy to be making excuses for our fuck ups? The worlds not going to get bigger, it now takes 9 hours to make a trip that it took my parents 6 weeks 50+years ago. There are people contributing to this thread in Australia, Singapore and god knows where. Tolerate and integrate, is the future, whether you like it or not.

I'm very tolerant but not of people who spout crap about fiction, especially when that fiction threatens my way of life.

So you're tolerant of anyone that agrees with you, I get it. :-0)

I reserve the right to slam my door in the face of Jehovahs witnesses that don't go when I politely request them to.
I reserve the right to tell the Mormons to fuck right off when they try to worm their way into my house & try to get me to donate a third of my wage to their church.
I reserve the right to ignore the "Christian" tin rattlers in the town centre.
I reserve the right to protest when a Mosque is allowed to stand as an eyesore when built without planning permission & I am not allowed to build an extension.
Would I have those rights in a Moslem country?

The politicians might have said it ended but the reality is that it has never gone away and is, in many ways, as bad now as it was then. The threat to our peace here on the mainland is significant but is a living reality on a daily basis for those living in NI.

Come on, if you don't know your history that you're so keen to protect, spend the weekend in the library. It was only ended 20 years ago after all.
And as for Muslims being slaughtered in their homes by Christians. Check it out.

From post 66 we're talking about christian/ muslim conflict. Whats the NI conflict got to do with muslims. There was no mention of the mudered family you linked to being murdered by a christian or anyone claiming to have murdered them in the name of christianity?

Very poor example really.. Turned out the two lads who were found guilty claimed to be Muslims when they got banged up
