Went for a spin up to our local bikers haunt, felt a bit awkward greeting people I’ve not seen for a while with social distancing etiquette.
Nearly got wiped out by a tractor on a B road on a bend, the feckin thing was that big it took up most of the road, managed to aim for a small gap and squeezed through, just, change of keks required .

Golf.

Storming back nine.

Lessons are paying off.

Stopped off at my mums to listen to her talking for ninety minutes.

I couldn't tell you what she was talking about, it's just a blur now. She seemed to enjoy it though:D

Went to Cayton bay, flew Grandson’s drone with him, kicked a football about, stopped off at Thompsons chippy on A64 on way home, listened To Leeds United get outplayed by Barnsley but still scrape a win, perfect day.

Struggled like buggery to put the frame on around the Katana engine.

then postie brought me the manual I ordered a couple of days ago, when I was flicking through it there was a message - refitting the engine to the frame requires 3 people in the absence of a suitable hoist. No wonder it was so damn difficult. I’ll leave it till the weekend so I can recover a little before I do any more.

I never forget the advice in the Haynes manual for the Suzuki GS550 , "when removing the engine use both hands".

Like a lot of jobs.
First time I took the back wheel off the "bath tub", (Triumph 350 for the children here) it took ages, next time it was dead easy. First time was on the side of the street.

Same with water pump on Hillman Imp.
Just undo bolts twist and pull apart.
Not a chance.
The impeller was glued to the bearing!!
A careful large hammer required.
