Went for a walk round Arlington Reservoir. Very muddy on one side, very windy on the other side.

Sadly didn’t see the ospreys that have happily returned but we did see two crows and a duck.

Stopped at a nice little tea room in Alfriston on the way back for a non-meat ‘so sage’ roll with chilli chutney, followed by a cheese and pecan scone with quince jelly. All absolutely delightful.

Absolutely wonderful morning, lambs everywhere in the surrounding countryside, magnificent views in every direction, even the kestrel mad an appearance hovering behind the 14th tee.

Oh, and I shot 77 including my second hole in one.
