Ahaa.. so it isn't for an auxilliary exide cycle lamp.
What do you reckon to the quality of the go-pro, I'm thinkin of getting one myself... the promotional vid they show on their web site looks brill but then it would wouldn't it. Would be interested to hear your opinion of it@tu*

As per Ricks post - the quality speaks for itself!

An unreal piece of kit - I have found anyway!

New Cans

Fitted a pair of Screamin Demon cans today. took it for a test ride, nice.
Without the removable baffles has a really sweet note all through the power range. In town no need to use the throttle as avoiding the Johny hoppers may be essential. Looking forward to putting it on a dyno to see if there is any power change, not that the Bird needs it.@tu*

fitted another air filter yesterday, this time to the red one. Found it had a K&N reusable in it, still fitted the one from jaws though.
Took it for a run and bedded in the rear pads I fitted a few days back.

Got up early this morning and was out on the road by 5:20am heading northwards up the M6 with a couple of ideas in my head.... Carsphairn in Ayrshire, Isle of Skye or Edinburgh.

Stopped here at 8:30am having done over 200 miles, had a couple of sarnies and cracked open the flask of coffee@tu*

The iconic bridge.... true Scotch engineering at it's best

The Jubilee Clock tower and the little cobbled street that leads down to the good view point for the bridge

then headed back down the A68 what a crackin road (no pictures of it tho)

spectacular pungent yellow fields, eventually by passed Hexham, through Alston and passed by Hartside tops. Stopped at Devils Bridge for a while at about 1:00pm but it was packed out so finished my butties and flask then went back home for 2:30pm.
What a brill bike is the Blackbird@tu* now to see how far the 1st tank of Asda fuel got me.

South Queensferry. A regular stop and meet for many bikes. Glad you enjoyed it. There is a bike clothing and accessory shop there too. It's called Forth Gear, and the service is second to none.
