Hate knocking any product esp when it is bloody useful, but on Friday had the last one of the 5 I bought and had out on test fail.

They all just stopped working.. no reason......... And one was in a car so not water related

I too bought one of these, never actually fitted it, but I did notice that when I placed the wires on the battery as a tester, there was a significant spark (and yes they were the right way round :-0)), which is wierd for something that shouldn't be taking any more that 10-15mA.

My 10mm LED unit was fitted in December, mounted on angle bracket just below the instrument panel. I took Silverfox's advice and sealed the vulnerable bits in epoxy resin, and it's been working fine. I use the bike every day.

Oh sorry the LED :-0), Its 8mm middle size if I remember correct.
Had mine on since (whatever date I posted, end November)... Though I've not done more than 500/600 miles since fitting.

Mine goes green as soon as the engine is fired, even at tickover with all lights on ...

so do we wait until it goes to red before we buy a new battery h1d1ng2

Mine flickers red at a gentle tickover, but turns green as soon as we're above 1100rpm. I like the reassurance it gives. No problem with lights being on.

Come on you Hatters
Here's mine. You can just see the LED below the Trip reset button.

Now I call that neat, only a 5mm hole. It's just glued in from behind with silicone, the wire runs round under the trim, and the sealed heatsink electrics do dah is stuck with double sided tape to the side of the main frame spare.

And No2, the new one complete with Alarm led to balance the effect.
