VFR Bars on the 'Bird.

Pete,

That seems quite reasonably priced to me; GBP 55 works out to about $95 US, which is on par with GenMar, but yours give a higher lift and seem quite a bit more secure. Looks like all I have to work out is how to lengthen the clutch hose (I'm quite sure it is too short) and maybe the brake hose. So, yes, please put my name on the list for a set.

BTW, about the annodization; is it a clear or aluminum color, or some other color? I'd personally prefer a clear or aluminum color, rather than something like black.

Thanks for the effort to get these manufactured.

Cheers!

Put me on the list

I'm constantly trying different riding techniques at slow speeds, to relieve the weight on my wrists, so these have to be worth a try.

What do they look like?

Keep me on the list but I'm curious about what they look like. Can you show us without revealing to much patent info? Don't want any off us blokes ripping you off! :B :bandit:

oh, Blkbrdrydr, What about those clearances with both the vfr & genmar's on? Do they rub the windscreen at all with them both on there?

There are a few pictures of the risers earlier in this thread (assuming Pete hasn't changed the design)

i dont really have an issue with the bars the way they are but it would be nice to try them out to see if its an improvment on the standard postion..if that makes sence:dunno:

Depends Reefer, if i'm off turing and they are on the bike anyone would be welcome, but if I'm out for a blast and the normal bars are on, nah

Good to hear, Actually I've had some luck adjusting the stock bars to a more comfortable position. I've raised them up and rotated them out about 5-7 degrees & it makes a world of difference on the shorter75-100 trips. I'm still interested in some risers though :) Keep up the great work !!

Have they raised the height on the bars for the newer models, test rode a carbed one and found it really stretched, now I've got mine it doesn't feel that bad, more upright?:dunno:
