Alternatively you could always try and search out those test results you were bragging about earlier - scan them in - post them here for all to see?

I have not had the Bird dyno but figures mean nothing you could have a very quick Bird, and I may have a down on power ROD, the outcome will still be 1-0 to the V-Rod :m

Utter bollax, there are loads of us that use the Bird to its full potential and some times beyond.

I'm a little confused ( yes, it doesnt take much), about this Blackbird verses V Rod...... 0 to 100 thing.

It just cannot be a fair trial, test, race, call it what you will.

Surely, the V rod would need to stop for fuel well before hitting the ton ?

OK simple English.

If a bike was not originally designed for the track, then it is being operated outside of it's original design envelope, i.e. BEYOND it's normal potential.

POTENTIAL = Existing in possibility but not in actuality

The Blackbird was is designed for long distance high speed travel.
Therefore any track use or modifications away from the designers intended use would be as in above statement. THAT does not mean it won't function it means that there may be a better tool for the job.

Then progressing nicely on to my use on the track equates with use beyond it's original potential.
