Todays GP results really does set up the Cat GP for us

if Sete can get a podium at Jerez or Le Mans next month or even some sort of a result at Mugello in June, then we're in for a real treat come the Cat ' GP and a reception you'll never witness elsewhere. :yo:
Gonna start sorting tickets out soon, so need to know who def want to attend the race. Pls respond by Friday or will conclude you're not interested. Sam could ya liaise with Dan & Ian pls mate :beer:

Man down, man down, man down

Unfortunately, Marius are R6 riding colleague was knocked off his bike this arvo by some cager who jumped red lights :mad:
Fortunately, Marius is not seriously injured, but the bike is a mess and a potential write off. I'm not sure what he's gonna do but thought you should all know in case you have cause to e:mail him for any reason.
I'll keep you all posted.

Marius update

Looks like he's out for the count and won't be joining us in Spain after all. The insurance claim looks like being a long and drawn out affair (aren't they all?). He was looking to buy a new bike upon returning from Spain (like a number of us!) and he'd already decided to buy a brand new KTM LC4 Supermotard (great choice :yo: ). However, they ain't much good for long distance work. So he's decided to bring forward the KTM purchase and wait for the insurance on his R6 before deciding if he wants another sports bike. Can't say I blame him really.

So, do we look for a Marius replacement or stick with the 6 of us??? If we stick with 6, the appartment accomodation cost increases marginaly and unless we're able to re-book hotel rooms, some of the hotel costs may increase slightly.
On the plus side, we'll have more room at the appartment and fewer queue's for the bathrooms :}.

In respect of hotel accomodation, we've booked 3 twins at each stopover on the outward leg, so unless were able to change, we're gonna have to divide the costs or does anyone want a twin to themselves. As far as the return leg is concerned, we'll just have to cancel the single rooms I guess, Dave?

well at least hes ok thats the main thing
can you cancel hes eurotunnel tickets?
i would have thought bearing in mind its still a way off that canceling the extra onroute accomadation shouldnt be a prob:dunno:
your sisters accomadation is so bloody cheap anyway it dosent really matter about the extra between 6 of us
bens come up with a sneak preview of the artwork, ill forward it to you lot if you havent seen it already???
marious pulling out will also increase the t-shirt printing cost for us all by the way

but one bit of advice, don't shout too loudly for Rossi, remember you will be in the homeland of Sete and they're just a bit passionate about their hero's :}

Reefer

I realy like Ben's design, so I'm def up for it.
BTW-how's Danni today?- you'll soon be running out of things you can blame for your lack of riding ability(sorry, did I say ability :bandit:)

Up to now, we've head the following excuses:

"you guys got all the luck 'cos the gaps kept closing on me"
"me front tyre is well fooked"
"me rear suspension is not right"
"there's something wrong with me front suspension"
"the road surface is not good"
:lol:

:violin:

now what is that funny smell?

Ok Playa's (no, not you Reefer)

For those that haven't purchased MCN this week, go ahead and do so 'cos it contains stuff on riding Europe and covers some of the routes we'll be taking come June. i.e.

France - Ride 2: Route Gastronomic. The article mentions Limoges which is where we're staying on the outward leg.

Spain - Ride 1 The Pyrenees, Foxi to Bonaigue. We are including this ride on the return leg. Just look at picture they've published and imagine 4 hours on those roads 'cos that's what we're doing -quality.

Spain - Ride 2 La Morera. La Morera is 15 minutes from where we're staying in Catalunya (nuff said!).

Don't it make ya mouth water :yo: Just call me the routefinder guys.

Now, where does Monza get mentioned :bandit: :}
