BTW - if ya going into Switzerland make sure ya bike conforms with the recently revised Swiss regulations & requirements, otherwise the buggers won't let you in - but you'll know all about the new regs won't ya?

Got the tickets for the race sorted over the weekend

A 3 day pass for the main stand, lower tier adjacent to the start/finnish grid for 41.85 euros each. Yes, 41.85 euros each. Just to put that into perspective, tickets for WSB at Brands last year, were about ?40 for race day and the view was crap.

Next time I talk about attending a race in this country will someone pls stop me.

BTW-3 day passes were cheaper than race day only passes - don't ask me either !

Anyone for the Valencia GP in November??? :dunno: Just think, last GP of the season, long weekend at 18-21c in November, cheap sleazy jet flight there and back, cheap hire car and good hotel. Big (cheap) piss up Friday and Saturday night (not forgeting the "night before race" mayhem that takes place in Cheste;you've never seen anything like it!).
Race on Sunday followed by bigger piss up. Fly back Monday AM (boooo).

well im having a pre-pack of me bits to see whats what :bow:
so far got huge pile of clothes over bed..all logged down so no mishaps on the bike day!
and tiny weeney small looking panniers sat next to the huge pile of clothes:B
fook knows where im gonna fit me fags on the way back..i even started using rolling tobacco..lasted 2 days tho:B
thank god for remote adjustable rear shocks

by the way if any of you can use compact flash memory for your cams..i can get it well cheap..cheaper than smart cards..i just ordered a 1 gig..yes 1 gig comapct flash for 175 quid! videos here we come
they do 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1gig

i havent see the compact flash yet..ordered it today but i think its got a tiny row of connectors along one edge. the smartmedia has a square block of gold contacts roughly in the middle of it..like a mobile phone sim card but 3 times the size
im using a fuji s602 which has a slot for smartmedia, then another slot which can take either a microdisk drive or compact flash memory..
i called jessops today to check the prices and they wanted 299 for 1gig media..so i was on the blower ordering mine at 175 thanks lol
it should say in the manual if you can use it
with the 1 gig you can take 33mins of real time high quality video! or double that for standard camcorder quality
or to put it another way..in 1280x960 size 3285 shots ..no changing of media me thinks while were away :-:

I'm traveling light boys and I've decided to buy as much as I can when we get down to Cambrils. So, skiddys, half a dozen t-shirts, a pair of shorts, a toothbrush and smellies for the trip down.

Those who wanna go clubbing, best leave trainers and jeans at home. I'll get me dancing shoes when we get to Cambrils.

The appartment come with a washing machine and bed sheets, etc (I hope), however, we'll have to buy towels when we get down there. I seem to remember some novelty ones doing the rounds last time I was there :}

well got all me clothes squashed in the panniers..but no shoes or bike bits etc:B
so its looking like tailpack for me:B
check list for pannier packing as follows:
6 white socks
3 standard socks
blue polo shirt
grey print t
5x beige t (so dont think im wearing the same t day after day lol)
black polo
green polo
white print t
2x black print t
1x armless black top (chucking once worn!)
1 blue long sleeve shirt
1 green shirt
white print t
1 pair cotton trousers
9 pairs boxers
7 pairs shorts
and thats them full to the brim!
dunno if im gonna be able to pack me knee sliders:B

joe..it only comes with "a washing"
dammm i was hoping for an apartment with at least "b washing"

well im taking white ones so they dont clash to much with me m&s brown sandels:}
things going well..just picked up me new jacket..fits well and is well cooler compaired to the old one!
hyperpro springs have arrived....small snag..they are short..as in standard length..so you have to use em with the original honda spacers..yes you guessed it..i chucked the spacers:B ..so it looks like mad ring round tomorow to find some..dont hold much hope tho
new colour matched shoei lid should be arriving tomorrow!
can you believe the guy at glf cut down me back protector 7" too short!..and then trys to bullshit me its better that way!
i gave him the look of replace the fooking thing or die on the spot...he gave me a brand new one needless to say
having just checked me credit cards balances ill think ill pass on the drinking and stick to bottled water..im guessing chips are cheap out there too?
i rekon the amount of fooking dosh ive spent getting the bike sorted, clothes etc etc i could have gone to aussie for a month first class!..you think im joking??..and i still gotta slap new tyres on the fooker yet

Know what you mean about cost, but so fookin what, it's only money

and 2.5 weeks riding ya bike down through France, Andorra, Spain and back beats Aussie anytime; believe me 'cos I've been there, done it, got the t-shirt. Oh and BTW the Aussies hate us anyway and just luv to remind you about their sporting this, that and the other (all the fookin time) They also think England is a shit country which I found quite amusing given that all of 'em come of here at some stage or other (probably just to find out how shit
