I am a strong supporter of the police. They are the reason we sleep safely in our beds at night. BUT even the police MUST be accountable for their individual and corporate actions. I know the copper did not mean to kill him but that would appear to be the end result of his casual wallop and push. Shit happens to all of us and we have to carry the can. If the roles were reversed and the victim had pushed the copper then no matter how minor the consequences he would have been charged!
Tomlinson was shoved away from a police line. He died shortly afterwards. There was no way it could have been foreseen he would have died after being pushed, but it happened, and was very unfortunate.
Very unfortunate???
The media only print it because it causes such a fuss and sells papers. If Tomlinson hadn't died then we would never have even heard of him.
He did die!
How many of us have been in situations where we have had to use force, to defend ourselves or in the course of work, and the subject of our 'attentions' has died? Virtually none, most likely.
I did. Under very strict terms of engagement where I knew that if I erred then my ass would be roasted. Military Court charged with manslaughter at least.
Just the UK media stirring up the shit as usual, the daily Two Minute Hate and The Sun Says, and we all start screaming and throwing shit around like enraged apes.
Correct there at least. There is shit to be stirred.
Too many goody two shoes bleeding hearts in this country. That's why it's going to rat shit.
