10----10:30 at the Bowness Peir (on the Windermere side) we'll then cross on the ferry and let battle commence. I shall send my mobile number to any attendees should they need it prior.

M6 junction 36 heading from kirkby lonsdale, Go straight over the motorway and follow that dual carriageway till you come to a roundabout, Go straight over and follow that road till you come down a hill into windermere, Take your first left (signposted bowness) follow the road down to the very bottom where you will come to a t-junction, Turn left and the pier is just on the right. :yo:

Try looking in an atlas and find "Bowness-on-Windermere" in the index.
Look up the grid square, and VOILA, there it is. :bow:

Ian, its the ferry terminal in Bowness mate, you can't miss it really as there's a sign saying 'FERRY'.........its a tiny little thing which should carry you and i'll send your bike over after
