Filling up while sat on the bike is stupid anyways

Don't waste your breath. Motorbikelists are always right and most certainly are exempt from any fuel to hot engine interfAce.

As an aside I saw a motorbikelist this morning riding with his black visor
Up and wearing sunglasses. It's not as if it was a typical damp murky autumnal morning........

I can beat that, at 3am this morning, I saw a cyclist with no lights on his bike, riding on the pavement, no hands on the bars, wearing sunglasses and hoody and texting, :dunno: he nearly fell off and dropped the phone when I sounded the wagon horn 8rfl@8rfl@

Garage where Bev works get 3 or 4 drive offs per month, never had a bike ride off without paying. One of if not the busiest fuel stations in the country.

It is the busiest in England, I just asked siri

I filled up at Crooklands and after paying (with helmet on) as I was just about to ride off. A young lady came running down the forecourt shouting for me...!

It turns out I had paid ?26 for diesel in a farmers Landrover . The cloth eared cashier said she must not have heard me properly :dunno:

perhaps we should have a loud speaker system on the customer side of the shop too and see how they like getting tanoyed at :-0)
