I’m not sure what alternative there was - any team could have lost against Leeds recent opponents but it is the way they lost which is unfathomable……….Bielsa’s apparent insistence on sticking to kamikaze tactics probably did for him. The reality is Leeds need to be picking up draws and the odd win to stay up and pragmatic football is a more assured way of achieving that, especially when there are a couple that are getting games at the moment due to injuries that look hopelessly out of their depth.

Bizarrely I have just watched the highlights from yesterday’s game and on another day Leeds might have scored four….but if you let four in you aren’t going to get many points. Also it is sad when you see players not doing the basics, hard to blame the manager for that - just watch the run from his own penalty area that the player who scored the first goal makes for a very vivid example in the first ten minutes, many more examples even in the brief highlights I watched.

Big Sam might be the man to keep them up…it wouldn’t be pretty but it may be necessary……
I don’t read football very well and don’t always pick up what players should and shouldn’t be doing, apart from the stark staring obvious.

I would think Sam could keep them up and, quite possibly, Tony Pulis but I don’t think Leeds fans want to see them play rugby league.

Playing much better against Leicester however two clear penalties ignored (what’s the point of var?) Leicester winning 1-0 with five minutes to go.

Neither penalties in my book, both subjective.

Leeds looked totally deflated once they went behind.

Talking out of your bum again, both definite pens, Raphinha fouled & outstretched arm.
Hardly deflated, 19 shots.

watching and reading through your white tinted glasses again derek!

Both decisions were subjective, as I said - in my subjective view neither were penalties.

And yes in my opinion Leeds did look deflated when they went behind.

You don’t have to agree, they are all my subjective opinions.

Fact.

I don’t agree & neither does anybody else,
It’s not subjective as you are Man U fan & know nothing about true football fact, end of.

‘Fact’ has to be on a separate line with a one line gap to work.

Fact.

Manchester United against Citeh, that is how a team looks when it’s deflated
Sky Sports News 11.30am Dermot Gallagher may look at the ‘penalty claims’

I wouldn’t know, i was at a four year old’s birthday party. Much to my surprise that turned out to be a better option than watching United

Got to say we were atrocious against Villa tonight & I now believe we will be relegated, that was the worst performance of the season, running round like a Sunday league team, having said that the referee was a joke, McGinn clatters into Firpo who is then stretchered off, ref books Dan James.

BBC R5 Live sport have announced a change in coverage at the weekend. They've decided to swap from Leeds v Norwich to cover Chelsea v Newcastle, can't say I blame them, can you?

Looks like any three from five now after Brentford’s late flourish today…..I still think Burnley will get out of it.

Massive victory today, heart in mouth at the end but well deserved win, should have buried it in the first half but a win’s a win.
