Dreadful result for Leeds yesterday, not sure anyone saw that coming. Or Norwich finding their inner Real Madrid. Suddenly Leeds and Everton are looking over their shoulders with worried frowns. Don’t think all the games Burnley have in hand will do them any favours, better to have the points on the board when you are struggling. Brentford in a bad run now.

Its going to be very tight down there.

Not worried in the slightest, oddly enough I never expected a win yesterday (after the Lord Mayor’s show) reckon we’ll get a point against Villa & beat Everton, just hope Roberts fucks off on loan or preferably sold

That is something that winds me up, score a goal & run to the supporters & remove your shirt, ref has to book you, five bookings = ban,
I have been racking my brains on this…I can’t think of another offence that guarantees a caution**. If a player is stupid enough to take their shirt off knowing they will get cautioned they deserve everything they get!

** arguably entering or leaving the field of play without the referee’s permission although that tends to be discretionary.

Been there, and had one

Loads of Leeds fans saw that result coming because Leeds make a habit of it. You can guarantee they will get beat by teams on a bad streak of form.

Listening to TalkSport yesterday and Way Pawour reckons it’ll be way less than 40 points to stay in the premier league this season. I think he could be right and the way Everton and Brentford are dropping like stones, it could be a very interesting dog-fight down there. There’s gonna be some real tin-hatters come the last six weeks of the season.

One club normally gets sucked in to,a relegation fight that they looked well clear of every season…could be Everton, Leeds or Brentford this season…my money is on Brentford.

I think Palace could be drawn into it.
I’d love to see Brighton get drawn in and relegated but I can’t see that this season. Can’t see Palace getting drawn in, not with Viera in charge.

Hopefully with Big Dunc in charge and here's hoping DCL will get his goal scoring form back we will be ok

Maybe they should sign the idiot (happily arrested and charged with assault) who threw the bottle - his aim was impressive.

Everton won't go down, not a chance.
I’m not totally convinced, serious issues there. Their spending has been even worse than Spurs, and that’s saying something! Need to turn it round PDQ.

Never worry about football, rumours that Bielsa has left Leeds, actually hope this is not true.

worried yet?

Hmmmmmm……
I really don’t think they will. Looks like they’ll struggle and I don’t think the top 15 have much to worry about but the teams below them are far worse.

Crowds gathering outside the ground, protesting at Bielsa’s sacking.
I’m not sure what alternative there was - any team could have lost against Leeds recent opponents but it is the way they lost which is unfathomable……….Bielsa’s apparent insistence on sticking to kamikaze tactics probably did for him. The reality is Leeds need to be picking up draws and the odd win to stay up and pragmatic football is a more assured way of achieving that, especially when there are a couple that are getting games at the moment due to injuries that look hopelessly out of their depth.

Bizarrely I have just watched the highlights from yesterday’s game and on another day Leeds might have scored four….but if you let four in you aren’t going to get many points. Also it is sad when you see players not doing the basics, hard to blame the manager for that - just watch the run from his own penalty area that the player who scored the first goal makes for a very vivid example in the first ten minutes, many more examples even in the brief highlights I watched.

Big Sam might be the man to keep them up…it wouldn’t be pretty but it may be necessary……

Apparently there is a Yank lined up to take over, Leeds are unfortunate to have lost key players to injury for most of the season, Cooper can be a liability at times but is a superb Captain that organised & instilled confidence in the defence, Kalvin Phillips, an excellent defensive midfielder with pinpoint passes to the attacking midfielders, Bamford not only contributing in attack but never shirked from defending, I still had faith in Bielsa saving the season with the above players soon to be returning.
