Massive victory today, heart in mouth at the end but well deserved win, should have buried it in the first half but a win’s a win.
Just watched the highlights….as you say a massive win…but also the way it happened will give the morale and spirit a massive turbo charge that might be important in the coming weeks. I can understand why Norwich are upset with Leeds’ first goal..while the Laws were applied correctly the application in this case seemed unfair.

I still think Burnley are the pick of the sides down there and will get out…but it could well go down to the final day.

Nothing wrong with Leeds first goal,Leeds were let down by not being awarded a penalty when Dan James was shoved over by that ginger haired twat

Equally Leeds may have been a tad lucky with the clumsy challenge in the box in the first half - some referees woukd have given that, marginal and subjective.

By the way I’d didn’t say there was anything wrong with the first goal, just that the correct application of the relevant Law disadvantaged Norwich - if the defender hadn’t headed the ball then offside would have been given and the goal disallowed. He couldn’t be expected to guess if the Leeds player was offside or not and as such had to play the ball. Correct decision, bad outcome.

Brighton could soon find themselves in the mix
I'd love to see Brighton go down because they've been flirting with relegation for the past six or seven seasons but keep getting away with it by the skin of their teeth. They won't go down this year though, too many points on the board after a pretty strong start to the season.

Was that the one where Luke Ayling made a perfect tackle & the striker stood on his ankle? If so the general consensus amongst the commentators was that he should have been booked for simulation.

No, the one down the other end. Dan James on Rashika. Clumsy at best, don’t think VAR would have overturned it if the ref had given it.

As for the Ayling one it definetely in my opinion wasn’t a penalty but I am not at all surprised that the ref gave it before looking again - it looked a penalty all ends up real time, VAR did a good job. As for ‘simulation’ you are having a laugh. It is possible for there to be contact and not be a foul and not be simulation (Which it wasn’t in any event). And it was far from a ‘perfect tackle’ as Ayling did not get the ball.

The Football,Show at 11.30am on Sky Sports News is worth watching..Dermot Gallagher reviewing decisions in the weekend games.

Ayling said he wasn't attempting to tackle he was trying to block him from getting a shot off. As for simulation he definitely dived thinking he'd get a penalty for it.

Four players off injured including keeper, looked like we were in for a hammering, then they had Jimenez sent off, bad clash yes but it was a 50/50 ball, I think he was unfortunate to receive a second yellow for it, Leeds improved slightly & won 2-3

I was shocked when I saw the result this morning. All I saw last night was Wolves second goal which entirely predictably featured runners not being tracked, could see what was going to happen when the ball was on the half way line.

With Everton winning in equally dramatic style a bit of a gap has opened…but I still think Burnley will get out of it………there will be many twists and turns before the end of the season!

It seems to me that the FA are conspiring against Burnley, in a couple of weeks they are going to be five or six games in hand with little time to play them.

Great result for the Mighty Leeds.

I think Burnley will go down, they’ve had their fun in the top flight and it’s coming to an end. The big question is, who will join them and Norwich in the Championship next season? I still live in hope that Brighton will go down but I can’t see it. Have a look at the Premiership fixtures for the last day of the season:

Brentford v The Mighty Leeds
Burnley v Newcastle
Chelsea v Watford
Arsenal v Everton
Brighton v West ‘Am

Every single one of those games is a real tin-hatter with implications at both ends of the table. I didn’t include Norwich v Spurs as they’ll be down long before then anyway.

You think Burnley are being hard done by, we had an apology from the ref association for us not being given a penalty which would have given us a draw, and also we had Allan sent off when he shouldn't have been

If you are not one of the chosen teams decisions go against you, we have had some blatant decisions & not been backed up by var

I agree with your first point but not the second. He could have been given a red and detention for that challenge.

I take back what I said about Jimenez being unlucky to receive a second yellow, he deliberately tricked the ref when he tripped over his own feet to get a free kick which they scored from.
Moutinho should have been red carded for his challenge on Dallas.
