Just wondered ....................

..........if anyone was going the north sea route, as I am not fond of humungous distances on bloody motorways... prefer the scenic views & loads a corners...???

I remember people talking about going via a route further north than Dover Calais... anyone take it further ?????

If its a 380 mile trip up a bloody motorway each way, then I think I will forget it... too fookin boring (sorry guys but I would fall asleep after a while...LOL)

Lets see if anyone feels the same...

We had a laugh on the motorways,Porsche chasing until he lost his bottle :}
And a break every hour or so,it aint too bad I don't think anyones a fan of motorways,but its easier to cope with the hangover:}

don't matter really

either way its all duel track,, 250 to calais then a piss up,, 300 to assen another piss up,, can't see any prob with that:lol:
BTW,, even bends of motorways can get interesting at 140+ fully loaded:yo: the longer i'm on the bike the better IMHO.

Rolfy.

The riders made their feelings clear when the price for the northsea crossing came in at ?249 as opposed to ?53 this year for dover/Calais. Beer tokens were the main reason as I remember. Also they did not want to stop in Brugge again due to the cost.

So the vote turned out to be Dover/Calais and stopping just outside Calais town to get bladdered on Thursday night.

Smudger is going over From Hull, mail him.

Bugger,
forgot Neale's question

15 bikes/riders enquired and so far 9 have confirmed their intensions so its going to be another good one mate.

Don't forget to confirm your intent on joining the Massif on tour by this Friday.

If you miss the deadline you will regret it for as long as you use the forum.
