One of my customers is a special needs teacher and prolly one of the most informed dyslexic aware people I've ever met.
She explained to me a lot of dyslexic's become better as they get older because they remember word shapes rather than spelling of words, and that is why I can sometimes spot a spelling mistake but dont know how to put it right. That is why my vocabulary far out weighs my abbility to spell them, because I dont write those words that often.
I'm still blessed with the inability to read words written downwards, i dont know naturally which is my left or right, I have no hand eye coordination so cant play computor games and I'm as clumsy as sin, I could trip over a fag paper

Hasn't stopped you :wank: though, has it? :-0) I believe we all read words rather than letters. I did a speed reading course in the 60s which trains one to see subject, verb and object only in any sentence. It has been a blessing and a curse. I cannot turn it off so need a new book every two days on average. :bang:
