Don't be naughty, William! :t :}
Yes, I've done ?twattish speeds? in the past
? but that?s why I bought a track bike and will continue
to do trackdays for as long as I?m able ? ?cos I ride like a twat if I don?t get my ?fix?.
However, my track and road experience
combined also enable me to appreciate different conditions,
my skill limitations ? and those of other road users.
Most of all, after many crashes on the racetrack, I DO appreciate that there?s not much time to do
anything
at racing speeds (i.e. 100+ mph) if/when it goes ?tits up?.
At those speeds on the public highway, you don?t give yourself, or anyone else, the best opportunity of arriving
safely at your destination.
I didn?t want to go down this route ?cos I was just stating my opinion ? but watch the
video and draw your own
conclusions about ?speed-awareness?, the absolute necessity for which is what I?m really trying to express here.
