I am home alone at the moment watching the football, mug of Earl Grey and slice of stollen……loving every precious moment…
I’m home alone, too. Mrs P pissed off to Dubai yesterday and is back home tomorrow night. I’ve divided my time between binge watching Supernatural and bass lessons.

We’re having our Christmas on Wednesday and Thursday before she buggers off to Jo’burg on Saturday for New Year.

Felt old when I recognised a few bits on Shed and Buried that I have used during my lifetime.

Wel it was Wednesday actually…..marvelled at how magnificent Concorde still looks as we taxied past the one at Charles de Gaulle Airport. Nicely illuminated in a static ‘rotate’ posture.

Marvelled at the stupidity and sense of entitlement of some people.

Had an email from someone living on a site I manage on Xmas eve saying the street lights weren’t on. They followed it up on Xmas night with another saying they still weren’t on. Another one this morning moaning that ‘they haven't been fixed’.

other than the fact that they aren’t needed in my opinion (they only come on as a few residents want them on and I can’t be bothered arguing, wonder if they will still think the same when the next electricity bill comes in).

WTF? were they really expecting someone to come out over the Xmas period to sort something non-essential out?

i am in the process of disposing of the site - they will probably realise how lucky they have been for the six years I have been looking after it.

Wondered why people are so destructive and stupid.

Large parts of the golf course damaged and now closed due to the brainless selfish actions of some complete and utter twats. Deliberate damage to greens in addition to attached photos. This is about half a mile from the nearest road, no bridle ways, etc. and in an area of outstanding beauty where all wheeled vehicles including bicycles are banned.B2CA1F09-F4E9-4C1D-8DBC-47DA4D353E59.jpegA59F21B7-84DD-4DBE-A1DA-B36F4F9B69EC.jpeg
