Have you any idea at all about how delicately thin the dividing line between gay and straight people, like you, me, your children, my mother... and every other living person on this planet really is? Have you never heard of x and y's...?

I have read up on it Rob & it only served to convince me that it is a choice thing rather than a genetic issue, there is no difference in the x & y chromosomes of a gay or straight person however if you are talking about transgender then yes there is a medical difference.
I wouldn't say I am obsessive about it Rob but I do strongly believe that there is a moral issue here that is my opinion it sickens me when I see gay couples adopting children kids are growing up believing that this is normal which in my opinion does not seem right.

Consider that two adult gays have consensual sex. Who are they harming apart from possibly themselves?

If they're doing nobody else any harm then leave them in peace. The same goes for religious beliefs (why is Jedi any less valid as a religion than christianity? They're both based on a book).

Derek, I think the difference is that homosexuals fall into 'consenting' category; paedophiles are abusing a section of the population that are either defenceless or vulnerable, certainly not 'consenting'.

You have my full support in 'not looking the other way'; I have been smacked for intervening in situations involving teenagers twice in my life and don't regret either of them. And by the way, i think teenagers are great, best couple of days each year are when i visit a local 6th form to do some 'self awareness' work. Thoroughly refreshing!!
