Fookin brilliant this thread....only criticism is it's fekkin bike related....still....am enjoying it immensely..
Quiney..."around about 120".....it's just a rough guide...I don't really want to fookin know exacterley, otherwise I may consider summink like a GTR1400 for better fuel consumption...or a small car for touring.

No mention of the Very Famously Recalled 1200 miles-n-it’s-fooked Honda, then, Bertie? :dunno:Hopefully, you’ve realised that the bike isn’t what it claims to be – a Sports Tourer – because it can’t fulfil the role assumed by bikes that were introduced as Sports bikes, but which became re-classified, first, as Hyperbikes and, ultimately, as Sports Tourers.
Generically speaking, they were long-range, continent-devouring speedsters, capable of carrying two people, plus luggage, smoothly, comfortably, reliably and economically to their chosen destination. Doesn’t sound anything like a VFR1200, does it? Maybe that's why Honda :wank: are trying (now) to call the VFR a "Sports Road Machine", or summat.

We were merely discussing the merits, or lack thereof, of the new VFR1200 and, consequently, the consensus appears to be that the bike is a bag-o-shite. As you seem to have withdrawn from said discussion, one may only assume that you have, in your own inimitable style, conceded the point.

According the salemen at Honda the best selling accessory for the VFR1200 is a full bike cover with a life size picture of a Blackbird on both sides :-0)

Lumpy....I have "moments" like that with the Kawa...only moments though....and I must admit there have been times when I have had a double-take at one or two 'Busas over the years and found myself thinking "hey....looks quite good at that angle".....
But then the Bird looks "quite good" at every angle doesn't it....
Actually, that pic you've posted of the Kwak does nowt for me....horrible nose on it..."from that angle".
Now this looks niccccccce.
Looks good huh?...Well, I think so.....then here's another at Aberwristwatch....owner had just got rid of his beloved Bird and thought this was the Dogs Bollox...me...I didn't find it too attractive this time...dunno if it was the luggage or colour or a combination.
