military tester was on an old BSA and was leaking like a stuck pig-- there was 10 of us on the tests and he was sending us all back in 1 by 1 after a few hundred yards incase the thing blew up:eek:

Passed at 17 years and 4 days in 1984 on a TS100 (MGJ661V) with tax and number plate from my DT175MX, TS had no tax on it and i had been riding the DT with 125 stickers on for 4 months since I passed the part one test at 16, Guess i thought i had done the hard bit! c7u8

All my older mate said you had to do a wheely on your test as this made you a real biker ( sounded like fun to me, so got mate with camra to prove it) round the block did the wheely and got the test job done.

Went home and out on my Z1000 MK2 that afternoon :-: which i still have! and most of the others bike i have since up to 9 or is it 10 now!

Z1000, RD400F, GPZ1100ZX, DR750, ZZR1100, CBR1100XX, R1100GS, Royal Enfield 350 (indian built) GSR1000K4 the mite be some others hiding in a shead!

Think most of my old mates have hung up there lids and long since move away from bikes, now i ride the GSXR1000 at the Nurburgring in just over 8 Mins :neenaw: Bridge to gantery and still looking to get under the 8  done the route napolin and the alps a few times and Looking to get the Bird to run over 200MPH so i can join the 200MPh.org.uk

so perhaps they were right if you pull a wheely on yuor test it does make you a real biker because i am sure they never did any wheelys on there tests
