Other EU countries allow them to be sold tax free ( which is why its massively cheaper to buy a bash hat on the continent )

Just one more reason to support the BMF with your membership folks !

Perspective

If you ride just once in shorts and a tee-shirt it really puts everything into perspective. Makes you appreciate the power and madness of your bike. Riding in my exceptionally heavy leathers all the time used to make me feel a bit invincible sometimes....... little bimble to the garage in shorts and t-shirt makes you feel very vunerable but is a good sanity check............

This thread has given exercise to my brain, really interesting. And I was thinking about it the other day, and thought, how many of us ride with a full face, and how many use an open face, or a Cromwell...? Since wearing full gear isn't seen as a mandatory must by some riders, why should a full face be? An open face is enough for the skull to not smash open and leave brain matter everywhere should one crash, so why not wear an open face? I think views on that would be quite interesting, so I have opened a poll thread HERE - can't wait to read the answers.
