UPDATE ..........
on Cyclops....
been again to see him in the D.R.I ( Derby Royal Infirmary)...
Docs have told him he should be gettin pinned and plated on tues....
He`s in good siprits and has asked me to thank all of you for the well wishes etc...
He is in a lot of pain at the mo and is taking all the morphine offered...(bless)..:neenaw:
if any of you guy`s are in the area , he`s on ward 31 in the main building and would love to see you. he`s sharing his ward with 3 others at the mo and they all retired years ago...( having hip and knee replacement ops)..SO conversation is pretty crap....(although the morphine makes it seem good
)....try not to make him laugh tooo much as the broken ribs are very tender....

Right then, it seems that for the past few weeks, when I've gone to see the beloved, I come back to the Forum and somebody else has come a cropper.
So I'm not going anywhere this week, so no-one has to fall off.

Update~~
went "down" for surgery at 15.30 this afternoon - was still in surgery at 19.30
Nothing more heard since
Will phone the hossy and update later
Having spoken with him yesterday [serious time now] he asked me to thank everyone for sending best wishes - meant a lot to him

I've sampled his "grapes" - oooo errr LOL
However despite being laid out on the road and with his leg all buggered - he still had a vice-like grip on his wallet!!
Hossy won't tell me anything BUT he's out of surgery and sleeping [nowt new there then]
