Just heard from the hospital.....good news and bad news..... [seriously!!]

Bad news is that his leg has shattered in 3 different places and he's being transferred to Derby Hossy for surgery

Good news is that he can claim on his insurnace.

this was a central line of gravel - just 1/2 mile away from where the road had been "resurfaced" with NO roads signs!!

Might be worthwhile taking some photos as evidence then followig it up with the local highways dept for compen

Update~~

Seen the old groaner this afternoon with Chunky Monkey

Successfully transfered to Derby Hossie - more X rays - view to operating as soon as possible.

Injuries include :-

Shattered femur just above the knee
Broken Collar Bone
4 broken ribs

Last seen being wheeled into a lift shouting "Whoo Hoo - bring me more morphine"

Purple pigs and pink elephants me thinks!!!
