Well this thread has been blown out of all proportion. I am sorry I asked the bloody question now. I will keep me gob shut in future. The title of the thread was something like "who knows his tyres"..It was not meant to be a discusion on riding techniques etc etc.
@B1irde.....
your comment..If after all that you are not up to speed, I will help you free of charge.
You see this is the real problem at the root level isnt it? Depends what you, I or anyone else calls up to speed. Whilst I acept all the advice given by all. My main gripe was that I dont have the same confidence in the bike in the wet/damp as I have in the dry. Is this normal? I dont know. Would one expect to lean over the same amount as you can/do in the dry. Would one expect perfect grip in the wet/damp? I don't know. The bike just doesnt give me the confidence to ride the same as in the dry.
My comments of this thread getting personal were not at me but others having a go at each other. Just out of interest I hold an IAM cert for a cage so I am not a total noob.
Anyway like I said in future I will keep me gob shut.
Thanks for all the advice. I will bear it in mind.
