Stepping up about 18-20 inches onto our side parhway from the sloping drive, lost my balance and went flying backwards. Sadly no-one around to appreciate it or howl with laughter at my attempts to get up from the drive with my head facing downhillBet that is painful.

Today I put my working clothes in, got he old courier style motorised biking boots out of the garage and put a woolly hat on in preparation for jet washing the driveway. By the time I had done that it was peeing down with rain so it’s all come off.
Now sitting here (not naked) booking a holiday…at least I will be if I can get ‘someone’ to sit down for five minutes.

I was 15 at the time & it was my fourth broken bone that year, broke a finger catching a cricket bat, broke my nose & my right arm jumping from a School roof, caught my foot in the gutter, my friend followed & broke his left arm.
