Well I was not gonna do it but.. Simply canna sit on my hands for another day........
Fabricated a battery box incorporating the tabs for various electrical bits to rubber mount on

You proly will not remember, but the other day I described how I made an ignition barrel and utilised a bit of tent peg to make the bits and bobs to connect the barrel to the switch, and another bit to make the key for it..
Today I used the rest of the tent peg ( and some other bits ) to make a seat catch up.. Waste not want not !

I hope you built to the maximum height like I did. Know the law and use it to your advantage.

Oh yes :D
I was under by about 80mm when I made the first roof truss the numb nuts behind started moaning so I made another set of trusses & am now 10mm under the max at the ridge cap :risas3:

So far today I have cut lumps out of an ajs frame & unbolted a load of other bits that were in my way with a view to getting this ere XS motor in, now peeing around waiting for my hefty mate to chuck the thing in the hole for me, bloody thing weighs a ton!

Took the MH in again to get the tyres all swopped across to my newly powdercoated spares.

then off to the vet to get my Choccy Lab checked over yet again, she’s got a long running ear problem which maybe atopic Dermatitis. More lotions and potions and a prescription for even more tablets. Time I looked at getting some of this cost back from the pet insurers.

Started to refinish a previous table that I made for someone who didn't turn up then went out to collect some bits I needed from a mate. picked up a small job to get a bandit running while I was there, pretty sure I know what the problem is so that should be easy (famous last words )

Really I am just treading water until a bike arrives on Tuesday for new engine to be fitted (XS into AJS) cant see a problem with that one apart from the chain run is going to be a pain in the arse

Ratty BWizz update

Right..
Got all the main voltages where they should be but no spark..

Got the oscilloscope turned on and lo!
No pulse coming from the engine.. nadda, sqit... bugger all !

Took the flywheel off and result ..... Wire broke off the pulse generator coil
Soldered it back on, put the rest together and tried it..

Perfect ! Lovely spark now.
Sadly no start still.

Just taken the carb off, full of poop .. AND noticed the slide adjuster (that sets the tick over by adjusting the height of the slide ) is completely missing, so a nice big air leak straight in to the venturi !
No chance of getting a replacement so I am gonna have to make one

Put the washing out on the line, took the washing in again (rain) put it out again, (clear sky) took it in again (downpour) thought bollocks to it and put it in the tumble dryer.
Made a humongous coq au vin, and shepherds pie for the freezer.

Honda Blackbird's are female, not male.

Hence why all, except for the socially inadequate blithering buffoons, refer to their 'Bird's as 'her'. (y):D
In addition to 'socially inadequate blithering buffoons' I also, correctly, refer to inanimate objects as 'it'.

We can't all be wrong.
