Had the paramedic in to see me again today. She’s once more checked me over, taken blood as I maybe anaemic will know tomorrow, blood pressure is low, checked my incisions and dressings - thankfully they seem OK. I got told off for not taking painkillers YOU. HAVE. HAD. MAJOR. SURGERY. DO. AS. YOU. ARE. TOLD.! I love it when she tells me off.
You must realise you are 19 days after surgery when they used to keep you in hospital for 6 months! I will get the GP to talk to you first thing tomorrow. YOU. MUST. REST.!

Marvelled how long a thread has been running in the BMW forum about whether it is possible to reduce the volume of the noise that the indicators make in the current 3 Series.

Today I have exchanged pounds for Euros.
They were all advertising 1.15 but apparently that was the online rate if you ordered over £1000 worth, we don’t need much as we’re all inclusive so I got 1.13.
Spent another couple of hours working on the insurance claim.
Amazing how much time this is taking…and we have still got to go to Brighton (never a good thing unless it is for a concert or the underground aquarium which is awesome) to choose different Amtico flooring as the stuff that needs to come up is discontinued (which also now means the kitchen floor has to come up oh deep joy), get the bloke in to quote for replacing the blinds and visit Richer Sounds in Brighton to get them to quote for current equivalent of our AV setup and discuss the opportunity for potential upgrades, oh, and get a new TV.
Going to cut the grass now for a bit of fresh air….

I had 2 community nurses in to see me today to change my dressings and remove some stitches. All seems OK.
I asked why it took 2 of them and was told they thought I’d twisted my ankle and decided to come in force in case I was really in a lot of discomfort. They were put out to find it was simply major heart surgery I’d had.

Luckily I didn’t twist it so I got away with it, I believe it would have been the worst pain ever had that happned.
