Ah ha! You have just forfeited the 20p:smash2:

The corner cut out purpose is twofold;

  1. Acknowledging the fact that there is no way a totally snug right angle in the corner is going to fit neatly and will probably damage the wallpaper when being put in and taken out
  2. somewhere to put a few fingers in to lift the thing out when needed
  3. a bit of ventilation for the five electrical devices under the cover
and no cables involved, they all exit the wall under the cover.
And so, on a technicality you’re depriving the charity of your money - are you a politician?

Exactly what I fitted in my lads bedroom.
Although I put in two tiers, one for the TV
and the bottom one for his amp and speakers.
Double ply and some beading on the edge
to finish off + 3 coats of varnish.(y)

Do you sit or lay on the floor to watch it? or is the skirting 18 inches high?

Went to Liversedge to pick up some tiles, driving through Dewsbury there were at least 40 Asians descending on one house
