Does not seem to matter what a thread is about at the moment, they all end up the same!Glad its not just me that was thinking like this …… shame really as its a good idea
I have been ignoring it for some time but it has gone beyond..
If folk like it then who am I to say ought, but there is absolutely no need for me to spend time and effort to change anything as it seems no changes are needed
As the thread is already off track here are my thoughts …….
General piss taking is fine & to be encouraged ( I am probably one of the worst) but when it declines into constant sniping it gets predictable & boring which is no good for the forum in general or those involved either
Recently it in my eyes it has been borderline bullying that is seriously getting on my tits, I fecking hate bully's no matter who dishing it out or who is on the receiving end, maybe some folk should take a good hard look at themselves
As usual this is my personal opinion & fucks given for those that disagree are currently running at 00000.0 %

Regardless of the bickering, it's definitely got a place on the forum.

If if goes like the covid forum, then personally I would not bother as that
died a miserable death and I don't entertain those threads.

If you take the pish or highjack the thread
then you are sent to the naughty room
for a period of time...no question.

@Jaws I seem to be the focus of a lot of the silly stuff. Hardly a thread passes where I am not dragged into it by some normally less than flattering (but not devastating) reference. It seems quite fashionable, maybe as with most fashions, it will go as quickly as it arrived.
While I'm not losing sleep over it I don't need it in my life. It would be nice to come on here and not be apprehensive about what I'm going to see.
However, if you think it will make the forum a better place I'll clear off, albeit with regret as the good stuff outweighs the pettiness big time.

Seriously, I am all for the 'trades' section, albeit I'm not sure that there will be much demand for my expertise in cross currency interest rate swaps or investment leverage.

I get as much grief with my pink jacket and my Italian steed and then some smart arse's on here constantly auto correct any spelling or grammer mistakes made.

I think if people don't post silly stuff about getting rid of motorbikes or boring people about golf, bodged DIY, their only friend not knowing there is a strict timetable for eating etc- then there wouldn't be any of the ridicule. Most of the taunting is self inflicted.
