Not today but but for Christmas. Got an Oculus Quest 2 as a family present. Oh My Good God its amazing. I've never been a gamer, only ever having a PS3 to play BluRays but I'm currently addicted to shooting zombies. I've gone up against Darth Vader, played in an anti-gravity arena and smashed boxes in tin time with music (which is REALLY addictive!!!)
Many years ago my son got game.
Helicopter had to destroy tanks I think it was. Anyway I pissed him off.
I got it done before he did.
I have been toying with getting one, I begrudge paying over £800 for one though, is the Quest 2 the £299 one? Do you need a computer with it?

No. You need a Facebook account and wifi. I got the £400 256Gb one. You can connect it to a smart phone and use the specific app to buy games and cast to but you dont have to.
You can connect it to a computer and use a program called SideQuest to load free and pre release games onto it. Games that arent on the actual Oculus store.
I'd never even considered vr, as I'm not a gamer, but its do immersive.
