Luckily, or unluckily depending on your point of view, I'm an essential worker so I'll go to work on her next week.
Yep that's my excuse too. Had a problem with mine that regular trips to work and back seems to have cured.

Mine is a her, her name is Naomi. Shes the best ride in the world. Never complains, always wants riding, doesn't mind if it's a quickie or a good long hard ride.

No.

Just no.

For,what it's worth, if you haven't got a fenda estenda fitted it is definetely worth doing - stops,a lot of the crap being thrown up off the front tyre getting to the radiator. Standard mudguard is way too short but no doubt magnificently aerodynamic.

A fenda extender? Hmm . . Sounds like a good idea. I'll have a look for one now.

I've just checked on Jaws, only £20. I'm quite surprised they're so cheap.

It's only a bit of vacuum formed plastic, don't get too excited!!

Yes but everything else on Jaws seems so expensive!

I'm only still in shock at the price of the radiators! I'm sure not everything is expensive.

Don't think you'll get the genuine Honda one for less than around £700 notes

Emotional attachment. :loveyou:
...for me, emotional attachment becomes apparent when I:
  • think about the bike
  • see the bike
  • clean the bike
  • service the bike
  • start the bike
  • sit on the bike
  • ride the bike
  • park the bike (and look back as I walk away)
  • think about the bike
  • walk back to the bike
  • think about the bike...
My bike is not a "she" or a "Birdie".

My bike's a bike, and, as such, it is a life form unique unto itself.

It was 180 for a FJR I had for a while but it was only 220 for a new one built to my spec (thicker core, more capacity), its a much bigger rad on the FJR but its been a while ago so I would expect similar prices on the smaller bird rad today

You cannot be emotionally attached to an "it" (with the possible exception of Mrs. Beaker).
Your bike is a "she" or a "he" .... and if it's a "he" then you've got some explaining to do to Mrs. DA....

Bollocks! :qmeparto: Of course yer can be emotionally attached to an “it”, or a “thing”: it’s just a matter of personal choice. :sherlock:

The catalyst for emotional attachment is what we call “quality”. When a “thing” is a thing that we recognise as “a thing of quality” we can allow ourselves to become emotionally attached to it through what we refer to as “desire”, or “possessiveness”. We allow ourselves, quite literally, to care for such things and we “miss” them when they are no longer available to us. In extreme cases, we may even give these “things of quality” human names blah-blah-blah

It's simple. If you can and have made love to an inanimate object you can then call anything a 'he' or a 'she'.

Anyone got anything they want to say??
