no not really just that if things do not affect people they just let the said thing carry on, but if something affects them then they argue or fight about it,

so common logic says that the smokers will defend it , as you so rightly pointed out. I just fail to see how that is funny:dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

Cambridge Uni

The Students Union at Cambridge uni decided to implement a no smoking policy in their bar and after two weeks rescinded it their takings had fallen by ?66,000.

It would seem they place little value on student health clearly market forces decide policy.

It would seem to me that there is little point in just one establishment impimenting this, they just lose their customers. I don't suppose the students stopped drinking for those two weeks!!

A Cure for smoking!!!

....I know of something that stops 99.9% of people smoking.....................It's called lung cancer it stopped my dad ..... he died from it when i was still quite young , a long time ago now. needless to say i have never smoked , but i don't think it's right to ban others from smoking in pubs if the extraction system is crap and it's to smokey i just leave, i don't like it in resteurants though....R'gards Rob.

Most definetley ban smoking in restaurants. These people who like a fag after their meal don't give a dam about us poor sods still eating.
As for pubs, no probs, if you don't like smoke, don't go in them.

Count me in wolfie although I don't smoke much when I am riding the bird, still manage twenty oddd a day though.
