After 10 years I must have spent a massive ?20 on lube, and the chain & sprockets look as good as new .... just a thought. We all do as we do, but sometimes the phrase 'reinventing the wheel' springs to mind.

Where do you find chain lube tins that small and that cheap? I've not found a pocket size one, the smallest I've come across is the 5oz tins of PJ1 Blue, but I still wouldn't want one in my pocket (so to speak!). And this is 5 quid a can, which generally lasts me 3-4 applications. So, it's costing me a lot more than your 2quid a year.
Help. What am I doing wrong as mine still hasn't fallen off?:dunno:andybird said:About 6000/7000 miles for me with no problem whatsover.:dunno:

All i want is to be the same as everyone else. Everywhere I go people are pointing at me and whispering to each other....I know they are saying 'he is the freak who doesn't have any problems with his Slipperblock afetr 8000 miles on a Bird'
I'm desperate, that's why I am shouting!!
