Re Dress Code

For those of you who know her, this will come of no suprise, but Elaine says the dress code sould be short, tight and glittery. Personally I think I look better in a suit !!!!!!!!!!!

Dress code

Well we've had our thinking caps on and came up with the following;

1. Leather - but not leathers!!!!???
2. Clogs and crash helmets
3. Fancy dress with a blackbird theme

but then thought 'bollocks' and have decided to have it as a 'come as you want' - so thats short, tight & glittery for Elaine, birthday suit for Stuey, crampon and snow goggles for the Humberside contingent.

Me - I'll stick with the all-in-one lycra :lol:

I am NOT wearing a DRESS so it does'nt matter what ''code'' your signaling in, I'm arriving smart but casual, And as for Tina!, I'll be surprised if she isnt STILL deciding ''what to wear'' while we are on our way over the pennines,:}

Two things..

1. . I will be wearing a tie, ( I have been told). No time limit for the wearing of afore mentioned tie has been set, so look out for it in the first ten mins.

2. . What time can we arrive at the venue from, ( to book in, have a pre drink drink, get to know everyone, get told off for forgetting tie, ect...)

Grub up

Dinner will be at 7pm prompt - to allow time for the entertainment afterwards.

Perhaps we can all meet in the bar no later than 6:30, for a drink before dinner.

And for those who are still unsure, the dress code is smart casual.

Funnily enough

Paul, I very nearly posted an explanatory note last night after Pete said that, to explain that what he really meant was

'very very nice people who it always seems to us that we have known for a long time, even though we have only known any of them for 12 months max'

but then decided after 3 or 4 seconds deep deliberation, that if anyone's sensibilities were that delicate they were going to interpret it the wrong way - they couldn't possibly be part of this Forum!

And another thing - you know for a FACT that you ain't as old as Pete! But then, most people aren't ........
