Agree with the sentiments so far, however....

... although I initially thought this a bit expensive, given the circumstances of; time of year, six course meal (my god, at my age I struggle with 3:blush, entertainment, 24hr bar and problems with availability of alternatives, then the price has started to look a lot more reasonable. My other concern was not wanting to put anybody off attending, but as Roxxo so elequantly put it; where there's a will.......

So, I suppose that's a long winded way of saying that Kit and myself are up for this.

As the majority seem to be in favour, I will go ahead and firm-up the booking.

The hotel is the Headlands Hotel, which is on the prom, south of the Pleasure beach.

I will give you all the full details once I've confirmed the booking with them.

Update - 5th October

The Headlands Hotel has now been booked for Saturday 24th January 2004.

The cost is ?47.50 per person, for dinner, entertainment, bed and breakfast.

I have paid a deposit of ?20 per couple and will PM everyone with details for sending me a cheque.

Directions to the Headlands Hotel

For those of you who don't know Blackpool and/or will be travelling in along the M55 -

Follow signs for the Airport
Past the Airport (on you left hand side)
Turn right at the Prom traffic lights (T-junction)
The hotel is a few block along on your right.
