NEC Show Yesterday

We're going on Saturday, ?24 for the tickets and bus there and back, reckon its cheaper than driving down and paying parking etc. Only thing is, we are now gonna be stuck there all day, and if its as poor as some people say it is, it could be quite a long day!

Has anyone had chance to get on any of the test drives yet? I was a bit gutted to see that there wasnt going to be any blackbirds available (boooo), dunno what else to try - any suggestions?

I think ?28 was only on the preview day, I believe it is ?15 for the other days.

me and blu,plus a few mates went today....nobody was at the avon stand from bird(12.00 meet time)so just wandered around.highlights bike-wise were the new R6,gixer 600 and 750 to name a few.worst bike was the ZZR 1400 uke: uke: the guy who designed it wants :shooter: ,it's feckin hanging ain't it.other highlight of the day was this little beauty :yo:

well.....they had a shitty silver one there(not you john),the two tone jobby,and it looked uke: i would never buy one if it was the only colour they did.and as for the "fabled" V5 1200 all singing and dancing....hell will freeze over first but i don't suppose mr honda's is worried to much by kwaka's ZZR 1400's monstrosity.

the bird they had on the stand was a different silver than prev mods more grey dull looking fookin awefull I agree with stan I'd never buy one

Well i went today and met up with IanRobbo the scrounging bastard :bow: .. So after we both tucked into burger & chips it was off for a mooch.

We put the KAWASAKI salesman on the spot by asking how the fook it was classed as a sports tourer when there's no where at all to fix ANY luggage,, no where!!! Damn thing is ugly in the flesh uke:

THEN i convinced myself that my new ride IS definately the HAYABUSA, torn between the black and the blue.
Bought a SUZUKI fleece so now i just need the bike :yo:

On the way out my cheap day turned into a fookin dear one as i decided to go playing in the mini moto arena and ended up wearing right through the side of my trainers AND my little piggy..........the one that had 'roast beef'. :B

SO a few calls on the way home and i'm destined to own an '06' plate HAYABUSA on April 1st (what a fool)

Almost forgot, GOD had his bike on display too.
