I'd be curious to see how one of the smaller Beemers handle in comparision to my RX8, which is still one of the most enjoyable cars I've ever driven in a sporty context.
I had one of those. Brilliant car to drive and could just get the grand kids in the back if I folded their legs up. Oil and fuel consumption was interesting.

I've had a mate, who's 6' 4", in the back a while back. They're bigger in the back than people think, plus those rear doors do help.
I once managed to get a mountainbike in the boot....frame first and wheels on top.

Was it a 192 or a 231..?

True....although some folk seem to rate the 192 over the 231 because it's only got 5 gears and the ratios are better.
Makes some sense, I suppose. I rarely use 6th unless on motorways or long A roads.

The Mondeo has always been one of the best all rounders out there, still a cracking motor for the working classes. When I was poor I had a couple of V6 models, very good indeed, excellent family car**. Surprised they are stopping production, will be interesting to see what it is replaced with.

** not as good an the BMW 3 Series GT though. Perfect family car.

I think you'll find the Mondeo is back..... only it's electric, jacked up a bit...and has been rebadged as a Mustang.

Sacrilege..... one of the most iconic car names in history relegated to this.....

The reason BMW’s are expensive is because vain morons are happy to lose £20,000 as they drive off the forecourt
Not at the moment Derek, main dealers are doing daft deals to get good used low mileage stock on their forecourts. There is a shortage as new car sales have been down during the pandemic. I was offered c£6500 in cash (ie no px) less than I paid for mine after 18 months of ownership When I took it in for a service, and that was without any haggling. If they had had something I fancied on the forecourt I would have taken it.

You have no entitlement to the use of ‘fact’. Fact. Find your own silly word that’s been immortalised by a famous Yorkshireman, or something.
‘Hovis’?
’Dripping’?
’Nora’?

Point in case, bought a field ten years ago at auction for £15k, over the ten years we have spent about £12k on stables, fencing etc, it’s now worth over £85k, also it looks like we may get planning permission as the owners of the next field have permission to build a recording studio with a large car park.
What you are saying is that your £15k field is still a £15k field and you are trying to rip someone off?

I was merely reducing my level to that of a BMW’s owner.
No apostrophe after BMW; you cannot indicate possession by an inanimate object with an apostrophe. Wrong again. Fact.
