It's now Saturday evening and I've just spoken to Phil's missus Liz.

Phil has not improved at all and he is seriously ill. He is still in a coma and on a ventilator and will be having a CT scan tomorrow. I've passed on all our best wishes to her which she appreciates tremendously. Told her I'd pester her again on Monday for news. Very brave , stoical woman is Liz. :bow:

I was telling my Mrs about him. I met Phil and Liz at the bash in may. Got to say what a nice couple they are. My heart goes out to Liz and family.

I've been away for the weekend and as soon as we got back my Mrs said you better find out how Phil is getting on.

A very, very slight improvement according to his missus who seemed a bit happier this morning. Says it's going to be a long process .
Breathing unaided for a period yesterday.
