Just put the 17 back cos the 18 was worn out.
Just been looking at the dynojet kit and it seems I put the 155's in so might put the 150's in or change the needle hieght. or take out those plastic plates.
Tomorrow I will take the ignition advancer off or retard it a bit to maTCH ME.

just raised the back 30mm with lust racing link plates.

you do know it is a touring bike dont you, ie it aint a sports bike.

About equivalent to 8mm on shock length. As mines now fitted with a wilbers shock the length in adjustable, up to + 7mm now, rear wheel will just turn when its on the centre stand..

Definately not a carb tank fitted

They are not interchangable due to different airbox and connections

Clean air filter 160 miles to red light on a run.
Dirty air filter 150. A bit too much thottle playing 120 or less.
On a touring run I don't bother looking for fuel until I hit 140 miles.

2001 FI - last bar had been flashing for about 5 miles, filled up with 23.85 litres, ridden about 150 miles. 60 - 80 mph on country roads with lots of overtakes equals about 28.5 mpg. Which is the lowest figure I've got so far. 80 - 100 mph on motorways tends to get me about 40 mpg. Recent air filter and oil & filter changed but still need to change the spark plugs (35k miles).

Plus the pump calculates the fuel you have put in, which includes the gases and bubbles that appear in you tank so in fact you are getting less petrol than you think unless you pump in much much slower than normal. An when was the last time anybody saw the petrol pump being calibrated?? very rare as they over read and we pay for it. As i said to the lady once how can i get 7.5l of fuel in a 5l can??? Not been back there since.
