tanks not interchangable, at least the inj one wont fit on a carb bike. The air filter shape under the tank is different and later tank wont sit on the top.
I know this coz when first had my carb bike it had a dented tank so I bought a nother one, had it sprayed with the bike to match and was rebuilding and found the cock up.
I had even bought all the pump stuff for the new tank too (((.
so if anyone needs a later tank and pump in pearl white has a scratch on it from stuff falling on it in garage, let me know.

It's a bit annoying that they still put these reducers in new bike tanks when you can't buy leaded fuel at the pumps so you wont destroy the CAT, not that that would be a bad thing lol but the CAts used to melt and block the exhaust using 4star 8rfl@

why you pushing a bike with 3 l of fuel still in it??? you feckin daft you are. have you tried using all 6 gears?? and you dont have to turn the right handle all the way round until it stops you know.

filled up this morning again, just under 20l in, 193 miles showing on last tank.

paddy you need to learn to slow down , change gear or have your bike set up on a dyno mate cause if i was only getting 109 to a tank full i would be riding something else, cant afford to run a bike at them costs, its costing you about 26p a mile just for the fuel!! compared to my average of around 13-14p a mile.

carb bike = 22 litres approx. Do a centre stand fill up and squeeze as much in as poss.
drive like a vicar and you get 165 miles until the fuel light comes on and 195 until it stops ......

Thrash it and you are down to 120 miles to fuel light.

over and out

nah son

Paddy doesn't and I don't.

full tank from mainstand, ride like Wolfie and can get over 220 miles before it stops. Paddy on the other hand gets a max of 125 from a tank

clearly my vicar rides much faster than yours ...... mine's a Barry Sheene vicar, yours must be some big gay Mick Grant or Steve Parish type of cloth wearing pansy, this would fully explain the anomoly.

worst i ever got was 20l for 78 miles, but that was a mad thrash in second and third gear all the time. With the extra tooth on the front sprocket and doing longer distances at a controlled pace, my bike is getting better and better on the mpg. the best i have manged to get to without the light coming on is 196 miles, prehaps the people getting low mpg should also look at themselves as they must be too heavy for the bike, try losing a few pounds or so and you bike will be faster and you will get more mpg, in fact i am now thinking that maybe just maybe adding the topbox along with my shape and how my bike is set up might just might be helping me with the mpg.

Comparitively maybe, but that's not what you said you retard.

All mouth and no trousers knobcheese.

You couldn't find your way out of room with only one door far less my place.

Leave your threats for someone that cares.

Be more explicit in your posts so the intelligentia understand what you are on about, the rest of the retards on here may understand however.

said the bloke who can only just manage to stay in his own county!!! I dont care that you dont care.

Try to read what is posted and not what he think is posted. it does help. i dont think calling people on here retards is a very nice thing to say do you?

maybe not nice but grammatically and anatomically correct. How else would you explain it?

Stay in my County eh? I have travelled the roads of France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and Majorca too, Have you? No? Well there's a surprise Mr all mouth and no trousers

er as it goes i have not been to switzerland, but have indeed been to the others as well as a few more.

A retard is somebody with an Iq of less than 70, i doubt there is many on here with that score or less, most redbird riders i would agreed may seem to fall into that grouping as well as efi bike owners (so red efi must be the closest but i still state that i doubt there is any. )

fix up a fuel feed for the guages makes it a lot easier. what gearing have you got?? 18 on front should help mpg

Just put the 17 back cos the 18 was worn out.
Just been looking at the dynojet kit and it seems I put the 155's in so might put the 150's in or change the needle hieght. or take out those plastic plates.
Tomorrow I will take the ignition advancer off or retard it a bit to maTCH ME.

just raised the back 30mm with lust racing link plates.
