Looks like it's only me watching!
No....You're not on your own, Sam!
Just remember that Rossi was in the 1:56's when he set the fastest lap last year. Lorraine and I watched the test session at around six this evening and, after a bit of a discussion, we both agreed that Rossi
may not win the championship this year.
By now, everyone should know that we think the guy is the greatest rider of all time (not a god...
Oh-hhh no!" Not a god!). And we want him to win -we
need him to win, and we'd
love him to win.
We're his fans. But then, reality - and the nature of MotoGP - kicks in -
anything can happen ("Thunderbirds"!), as we saw in Jerez.
Practice isn't qualifying, and a good qualifying time doesn't mean that you'll win the race. But Roberts, Stoner, Edwards et al are all out to prove a point -
just like ev'ry other "mo-fo" in the race!
Qualifying tomorrow - race on Saturday:
Qualifying hasn't even begun, but,
as a matter of record, we should record our predictions of the race result
now. Post a poll, Samster, and record my prediction for Qatar:
Rossi
Pedrosa
Melandri
Edwards
