Ride down to Folkestone, Calais and onto Le Mansand watch the race and come back??

I'm kinda gearing up for it as i can't make Donny.

Failing that its a trip to Mugello but only if i can persuade HID to let me go.

I'd like to, John, but we're already committed to Mugello, Donnington and Estoril - with Valencia looming ever-larger as a likely destination. Lorraine keeps insisting that she wants to go, and you've seen at first-hand how she shouts at me if she doesn't get her own way! I've got to find a way to fit some work in between all these holidays and I'm finding it increasingly difficult to do so!

Here is my bobs worth on the race...
Rossi won but even if he just stayed on board he was likely to be on the podium, its always the same pattern with him - pre race there is something wrong with his bike either this, that or the other and then on race days its miraculously OK and he wins on it, the phrases 'smoke screen' and 'load of bollox' spring to mind, or is it the old chestnut of inferior bike again.... YYYAAAWWWWNNN. BUT he rode a good race - that's the best you'll get from me! man8um
Sete and Loris both had good races better luck for them both next time b0x1
Stoner had a good weekend, now all he has got to do is repeat the performance every race from now on and he will do OK..... Welcome to the top. :yo:
As for Pedrosa and Elias, I thought that both of them were disappointing. man8um
The star for me was Nicky Haydon, to have the weight of Honda on your shoulders and all the new develpoment changes to the bike at every race his head must be exploding, and to try and race at the same time as well as testing- all I can say is 'well done that man'. :bow: :bow: You can imagine the poor bloke testing and all that's going through his head is 'this needs a 2 cliks in rebound', 'the rear chassis wants shortening a bit', 'ride height needs another 6mm' etc etc, and all that with the added pressure of Rossi & Co breathing down his neck... respect!!
Plus a news flash....I think the 250s will be a bit one sided this year... :}

I have been thinking that for ages, a system a bit like the football Champions League, so rather than British/Spanish/Italian/German & French superbikes all on their own have a European one, say the top 4 from each country... I think I shall patent the plan and make my fortune
