Coddy, Ive had a bike AND a car written off, literally because of what you describe above,!!!! shouldnt the EMPLOYERS, ie the paper shop owners take responsibility for their employees,???? any other type of employer would be shut down straight away,!!! :dunno:

As far as I am concerned cyclists are the living embodyment of anarchy.. They really do believe the law of the land does not apply to them..

why ? to get my own back on the way they treat every inch of road/pavement/world as their own personal track that no one dare encroach.

aha got it now cyclists are the new bikers cause they sold their motorcycles, because the motorcyclists were not tough enough to play with any more but as they were taking over the whole motorbike scene the dudes need to start again somewhere , so they all brought mountain bikes and lycra shorts!! I always leave room for them whilst commuting through gloucester ( I view them as a lower form of motorcyclist ,but not as bad as a cager).But as for paper boy tossers .one street away from my house some little shit cycled (from the pavement) across the road in front of me causing me to brake like a b@stard on the BB (I was travelling at 20 mph,as is our area speed restriction),if I hit the little shit what would of happened?.No wittnesses,"evil long haired bike hits child..etc",I get about ?150 damage of damage done to the fairing due to some 12 year old tw@t.

Now they are the scary ones!!!!! group of about 6 went past the other way yesterday, helmets undone no gloves all of them nodded to me!!!!! now being the person i am i nodded back(encourage the future bikers etc etc) i flet like that feckin nodding dog churchill from the car insurance advent.


Anyway i give cyclists a WIDE berth cause they wobble everywhere.

I aint fuckin lyin, and YOU dont know me, so Id appreciate it IF YOU would firstly check your facts before you go calling people, this isnt the first time Ive mentioned my dislike/annoyance of a Particular type of cycalist, {Paper boys}, Ive even recived "threatening" PMs from a spinless news agent that also didnt like what I wrote, the bike written off was an RD350r Brazilian model, the car a VW polo, a paper boy slamed into the side of the bike,"my brothers I was borrowing" smashing all the fairing and twisting the sub frame and fairing frame, third party insured only as I was "borrowing it," the car was written off as I was comong home at 6am in the snow 10 mph paper boy riding on wrong side of the road in the tyre tracks, I swerve to avoid him and hit a lamp post, if I had braked I Would have hit him, as you tend to go straight on with your wheels locked, on hind sight perhaps I should have hit him, and if he had survived let him explain why he was riding on the wrong side of the road in vehical tracks, "and when he realised he had CAUSED the accident" fucked off so fast a bloke going in his direction couldnt"safely" catch him, and DB you want witnesses you can have the names and addresses anytime, :f :f

Personally I reckon Ian is spot on. Poxy cyclists, I drive a cage but will be on two wheels soon (hopefully) and everyday I have to put up with paper boys and lycra twats who think they own the road - there is NOTHING good to say about them, they ARE complete a**eholes with NO respect for other road users and I haven't seen an exception yet and won't be holding my breath either. Oh it's OK for them to cut across in front of you forcing you to stop or swerve but god help you if you get an inch closer to them than they want you to, personally I think each and everyone of them should have to pass some sort of CBT before being allowed out of their back gardens AND they should have to be taught about the effects of their actions on riders/drivers of powered vehicles. They should be made to display some sort of disc somewhere on their bike so that there is some form of identification. Failing that all motorised road users should be equiped with sticks studded with carpet tacks - you know - the poor mans stinger :}

Actually the problem is getting so bad over here that the cops want all pushbikes to have numberplates. (Qld - Australia). But then they also want front numberplates on motorcycles as well... :B

Coming back from Six Hills bike meet sometime back one evening, whilst crawling along in traffic (I wuz boxed in and couldn?t easily filter) through the centre of Oakham, some little fookwit on a twist-n-throttle-the-twat shot out of a side road next to me (on my left) and proceeded to literally shove me outta the way with his shoulder and cut me up on the inside. I was two-up at the time with my lad, on the ?Bird, so having this herbert knocking my shoulder/elbow caused the bike to wobble alarmingly. Eventually caught up with him as we left Oakham, drew level with him my lad tapped him on his right shoulder, fookwit (startled by this) looks at us, just in time to see my lad smack him right in mush with his left mitt. :}

Needless to say scooter boy wobbles all over the place, across the grass verge and down a small incline before stopping at the bottom, still upright.
And before anyone starts bleating about us smacking the twat, he weren?t wearing a lid, only flip flops on his feet, and shouldn?t have been on the road as such, and what would have happened if he?d brought us down as a result of his earlier antics? Insured for that ..... don?t think so.
