Stopped at some traffic lights about three cars back. Cyclist comes down the inside between kerb and cars, took a scraping of paint from the new Audi in front of me with his pedal, then scoots off over the park. Audi driver fuming, gave Audi driver my details as a witness however what chance of catching cyclist? No number plate, description red and blue mountain bike, rider athletic looking yellow jersey black shorts dark glasses and cycle helmet.
how many cyclists does that description fit?

I concur, imho they should have to be insured, same as in holland, and have lights "that work" on either end of the damned bike,
Ive EVERY sympathy with the Audi driver, hopefully the scrote on the bike rides the same route regularly, and can be spotted next week,!! :dunno:

Did I hear somewhere, if a cyclist is involved in an accident with a car, it's deemed the car drivers fault.
Bloody Audi driver ought to be more careful.

Yeah thinking about it maybe he should have stopped nearer the kerb so the bastard couldn't get through, in fact I should have stopped nearer the kerb so he couldn't get past me, so It's my fault then, glad thats settled I'll wait for Police or Audi driver to contact me and own up!!!!

You would be amazed at how many car drivers in Cambridge carry 3 ft sticks.
You would proly NOT be amazed at the effect a stick thru a back wheel has.. ( harder to get it thru the front wheel ! )
Saw a total classic while I was working there full time.
Cyclist up on the pavement to jump a set of lights..
As quick as a flash a woman stuck her umbrela through his wheel, and while he was on the floor she set about beating the crap out of the arse..
As far as I am concerned cyclists are the living embodyment of anarchy.. They really do believe the law of the land does not apply to them..
And I do not want to hear from some bleating cyclist saying they are not like that.. EVERY fookin cyclist is like it...
Bugger number plates and all that shite, why not just declare them fair game for air pistol target practice :bandit: ?
Spot a cyclist breaking any law and whamo, they are a target !!
Loadsa peeps have low powered air pistols tucked away and would really enjoy using them for the good of mankind

( must either start smoking again or start taking some kinda chill pill ! )

Chill pills for sale.
Calm down chaps, spare a thought for the poor cyclist.
Poor cyclist ... POOR FOOKIN CYCLIST !!!!!
Bunch of anal arsewipes who need beating often and repeatedly with a cactus on a stick !

Actually.. there is generally one type of cyclist I do not mind at all..
That is the type that use a push bike as it should be..
A cheap, slow method of local transport.. Someone who rides to and from work maybe, and sits quite patiently at the lights etc..
All those total wan*!rs, loosers and muppets dressed in lycra who think they look good need a serious slapping, while 'know it all' students should have their course notes destroyed at the end of the term if the CCTVs spot them being arseholes whilst riding.. Bet that would soon give them a new perspective :}

Oh and Nick, if you ever had to use the roads of Cambridge you too would be VERY anti !!

Now, who the feck else can I rip in to ?? !!! :yo:

The only cyclists I like

are of the young female variety wearing a crop topand their jeans low so you can see a bit of thong.

Don't mind them at all

To be positively encouraged I say

Well i have never been to Cambridge but as a club cyclist myself it don't matter where you live as a good percentage of drivers are fookin blind.

Derek, i sincerely hope you find the twat who damaged the Audi! As in all walks of life it's always the minority who give the majority a bad name.

So when you see a lycra clad cyclist out training on the roads, odds on he is insured through Bristish Cycling to the tune of a million sovs, all cycling clubs insist on insurance by the way.

Hmmmmmmmm..........

Cagers hate Bikers, Bikers hate Cagers.........each deem the other brainless fukwits............both appear to hate cyclists more !! What's that all about ? As a cager, biker and cyclist, I hate cagers doubly so !! Whilst you may have witnessed Lycra boy 'doin' the Audi - is there any chance it may be 'justified' a la a wing mirror moment. Did you see what happened to the treader over say the last mile [as a guess, with today's city traffic speed - I regularly overtake the same car 4 or 5 times on the way home in rush hour] ?

You think Biking is dangerous ? Try commuting on bike. Sit/cut across cycle lanes, turn left in front of you across cycle lane, pass too close, too fast etc etc. Yeah, I know there's wankers in lycra just as there's wankers in steel and leather. Let him without sin cast the first stone.....................

There.. I just KNEW there would be ONE who had to defend fookin cyclists !

I take great delight in cutting the bastards up, opening a door on them,, all sorts in fact..
why ? to get my own back on the way they treat every inch of road/pavement/world as their own personal track that no one dare encroach.

Last time one of the twats waved a fist at me I stopped the bike, and waited for him ( and him being in lycra and thinking he was superman ) He started to rant off.. Me being old fart ( in full leathers with armour, and full face helmet ) chined the c^nt.
The look of surprise on his face was worth it all ! ( I aint no great fighter.. paper bags have an easy time when I am fighting them.. so he was not exactly out cold )

Like I said, you have got to live / work around a University city like Cambridge to develop a full wonderful all embracing hatred of the gits !! :} :f

I had followed the Audi for about two miles up to the lights the cyclist was not on the same road he came from a side road following the line of the park, so by making his escape over the park he was heading back in the direction he had just come from
